Telangana Open School Society (TOSS):

The Telangana Open School Society (TOSS) was created to offer education to students who were unable to complete their school-level studies due to various challenges. It provides an opportunity for individuals to resume their education through Open and Distance Learning (ODL).

TOSS aims to make quality education accessible, offering skill development and modern teaching methods through ODL. Students can complete their education up to the pre-degree level. Admissions for TOSS SSC and Intermediate courses for 2024 are now open, including details on exam dates, fees, hall tickets, and other essential information.

About TOSS: TOSS was established as an autonomous society under the Andhra Pradesh Public Societies Act on February 20, 1991, making it the first State Open School Board in India.

Objectives of TOSS:

  1. To provide pre-elementary education via ODL for school dropouts and those who missed the Upper Primary stage, aiming to achieve Universal Elementary Education (UEE) in the state.
  2. To offer continuing education for adult neo-literates, working individuals, and women, ensuring they maintain functional literacy and do not revert to illiteracy.

TOSS offers a variety of courses in general education, life enrichment, and vocational training up to the pre-degree level, providing education opportunities to those who missed out on formal schooling.
